What is the coverage of the May 2010 elections?

The May 2010 elections will be a combination of national and local elections where citizens will vote for a president, vice-president, 12 representatives in the Senate, representatives in the House of Representatives including the party-list, and officials in the provincial and municipal levels.

According to the Constitution, the regularly-held elections in our country are:

National elections for electing a president every six years and for electing representatives in the Senate every three years, that are held on the 2nd Monday of May.

Local elections for electing representatives in the House of Representatives and officials in the provincial, municipal, and city-levels, that are held every three years on the 2nd Monday of May.

Barangay and Sangguniang KABATAAN elections that are held every three years on the last Monday of October.
