Founding Organizations

College Editors Guild of the Philippines. CEGP is an alliance of tertiary student publications nationwide. It is the largest and oldest existing, and the only student organization of its kind in the Asia Pacific Region. It is the national center for the advancement of campus press freedom.

National Union of Students of the Philippines. NUSP is a nationwide alliance of more than 600 student councils, student governments and student unions committed to the advancement of students’ democratic rights and welfare.

Student Christian Movement of the Philippines. SCMP is a non-sectarian, inter-school mass organization of Christian students. It upholds and expresses its faith and love through its participation in the struggle of the Filipino people.

League of Filipino Students. The LFS is one of the oldest, largest, and most active youth organizations in the country. It aims to organize the Filipino students to struggle for their right to education and involve them in social change.

ANAKBAYAN. It is a national democratic comprehensive mass organization of the Filipino youth that struggle for the youth’s interests firmly linked up with the people’s struggle in realizing a truly free and democratic society.
