KABATAAN Blog Action for the Week
[please feel free to share and repost]
Greetings!
The latest Pulse Asia survey shows that seven out of ten Filipinos lack knowledge about the AES (Automated Election System) and the partylist system.
This is bothersome: should this hold true on Election Day, it will mean millions will be unable to vote, or have their votes invalidated, simply because of their lack of information. This is a serious blow to our efforts to advance the new politics of change for the 2010 elections.
KABATAAN Partylist is calling on all young Pinoy netizens to do their part in raising voter awareness in this week’s Blog Action.
Want to participate? Here’s how: write a post/blog entry about the partylist and/or automated electoral system. It can be what you know about want to know about the systems, the implications of the latest survey, what we and the government should do to address the problem, etc. Link your entry to KABATAAN’s voter education section so we can keep track and recognize your efforts. Or post your URL at the comment section.
We’ll be posting links to your entries on our website next Thursday, February 25.
Together, let’s make every vote count.

the KABATAAN Online Campaign Team
